Welcome to the Art Room!

 

As a teacher I believe that students need to be enthusiastic and inspired.  I want to instill a love and a drive in your children to explore, design, and create.  I want to arm them with the tools that will help them be successful and confident as they begin the new Art Program at G.J.M. I understand as an educator, an artist, and a mother that children need to be provided various outlets to express themselves.  I hope by introducing students to various mediums and materials that each child will be able to feel safe and encouraged to express themselves creatively.  By establishing open lines of communication between school and family I believe we can cultivate an environment in which the children feel safe, confident, and want to challenge themselves to inspire others through their art. I am looking forward to a great year with your children.
